How it works
Loft insulation is one of the easiest and most effective ways to improve your home's energy efficiency. The process involves laying rolls of mineral wool or fiberglass insulation between and over the joists in your loft space.
The current recommended depth for loft insulation is 270mm. Even if you already have some insulation, it may not be thick enough to meet modern standards. The ECO4 scheme can fund "top-up" insulation to bring it up to the required level.
